Kaycee Hammond, materials information consultant, works alongside ANSYS’s GRANTA MI customers to provide the best solutions to store and leverage in-house materials data during the material selection process
Inspired from her experience with FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), Kaycee studied at Purdue University, Indianapolis (IUPUI) where she earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2019. During her collegiate career, Kaycee conducted research in the Additive Manufacturing research lab focusing on polymer characterization and bioplastics. She is a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) as well as the Society of Plastic Engineers (SPE). In her free time, Kaycee enjoys practicing Krav Maga and playing with her two spoiled cats. She is also an advocate for the maker movement, spending a lot of time making with her personal 3D printer.
Kaycee’s goal is to help others make the best decisions possible by using her experience and knowledge to help her customers attain and exceed their goals for leveraging the GRANTA MI software to make the best material selection possible. Through these efforts, Kaycee aims to make the implementation and utilization of the software simple and easy.
